What is this website?

Tap into Sociology (tapintosocioology.com) houses the Sociological Imagination Library - an interactive depository for sociology related Open Educational Resources (OER) for both students and instructors. The Sociological Imagination Library provides active links, organized by sub-topics, in one space. Each entry has a link to the digital material, is tagged with the sub-topics that the media is related to, and will have a short description. While this library does focus on sociology, it will be useful for other disciplines as well.

How it works:

Search a topic you are interested in finding an OER for. Each entry is tagged with multiple topics, so items should come up. Try more broad subjects topics like “gender,” “sexuality,” “class.” You can also try more specific topics, or item type, too. Use the resource as a supplement to your course work, for assignments, or to understanding your class topic more
